Stuck

I’m worried about being perpetually stuck/Different companies every year/same feeling of your throat closing up a little smaller/Every day, afraid to say anything that doesn’t sound like smiling through teeth/because maybe this one place will give me a chance/

I’m trying to get use to the uncomfortableness, the uncertainty because what did the past years give me?

This is the definition of stuck/It doesn’t feel like a mack truck/More like quick sand in old Hollywood movies/where your arms flail and you scream/while hipsters watch ironically/laughing at the absurdity of the dream you once had.
